Beauty: #3 Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

IMG_3916 IMG_3917

I was a little on the fence about featuring this concealer because I know content on this product is saturated. But I had to give credit where its due, and if it wasn’t for bloggers then I may not have found this. The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer could be a cult product, and a ridicuously cheap one at that. The awful packaging gives that away slightly so please excuse the state of this, its not even 2 months old.

Its the ‘ultimate wear concealer’ that conceals flaws, imperfections and blemishes for up to 16 hours..apparently. Whilst it definitely doesn’t last for 16 hours, the wear time is good and touch ups aren’t always nessecary. The great thing about this product it that although its a pretty heavy duty concealer, its transfer proof which means none of those awkward foundation stains on your clothes or the clothes of others. It also claims to be water resistant and without actually putting it to the test I’d say it was average in that category…it does tend to slip a little on oily skin though.

On the oily skin note, it offers a beautiful matte finish which is a saviour for skin on the chin, nose and forehead and if blended in well it works really well with a range of foundations. There are four shades which isn’t bad for such a cheap product and at the moment I use Light (2) which I find works really well at reducing redness due to its yellow undertone.

Its inexpensive (£4.19) and available in boots and superdrug, and the best thing of all is that it hasn’t broken me out!

Do you know of any other cheap concealers to rival this one?
